I have 2 runner eggs in a Little Giant Incubator, and they had been moving a lot since developing until Day 20. I can no longer see any movement when candling. This is bad, right? Is there anyway for me to tell if they are alive?

The veins aren't as apparent as they were before, but the whole egg seems darker too. I'll post pics as soon as I remember how; it's been a long time since I've been on the forum. : )

That doesn't look good :( They should still have veining. When the veining disintegrates it's a sign that they have quit.

On a normal day 22 egg, the egg would be almost fully filled, and you'd still be seeing some veining up around the air cell. I'm not saying for sure that they've quit, but they might have.

Thank you. That's what I suspected, because the veins were so apparently and there was so much movement before. Do you think I should give them a couple more days, or should I pull the plug?
