I have 13 live and noisy chicks. [IMG]

One chick didnt make it out of the shel and died.

two are having a hard time getting out. the membrane under the shell is white and rubberish. I wet it down and peeled back the shell only! and didnt get the beack wet. They are still breathing and I will leave them a while.

temps are 85% humidity and 98F

Do I remove the eggs that have not pipped at all?

12 chicks are in the brooder all day and resting.
one chick is still in the bator, too wet still w/the two that are still trying to emerge.

When do i finally give up on the 18 that havent pipped

It sounds like you have some that are still hatching so it is to early to worry about giving up on the others that haven't pipped yet. Give them a couple more days anyway.
