Today is day 22 (I set them on 17th of Oct around 1 or 2pm). I candled on day 19 in the morning and saw movement & a good air sac. I haven't: seen any rocking, heard any peeping, seen any pipping. Do I continue to wait? Do I candle? Do I just do nothing?

First time hatching...thanks for any advice.

Well, I was going thru the same thing just this weekend, I patiently waited and have 3 little fuzzy butts!! on day 22:D

Hang in there, I still have 8 others but don't think they will do anything:(

So...I went into lockdown a day early then? How is that going to affect eggs? How long can they stay in the shell after breaking the air sac?

Thanks!

Hi tball!
Lock down a day early shouldn't be a problem. It's when the humidity is high in the beginning of incubation that you should worry.
They should be just fine.

I Put mine in lockdown last night. I didn't realize our eggs were so close!

Good luck!!

I need to get back over to AZ and catch up!
Talk to you soon!

with you putting them in the afternoonish time you would count the next day as day 1 so yes today is day 21 for you. going into lockdown a day early as i have read doesnt cause any problems so you should be good. i know its hard to wait but be patiant and dont open the incubator expect to add water and lightly mist the eggs as you do this

mine are due to hatch tomorrow good luck
