Day 22 of incubation and I think the lone survivor may be dead

Is it normal to not see any movement? And what should the humidity be?
It kind of depends... It's really hard to see movement later on unless they're really moving. At that point I go by if there is still visible veins. If I can't see either then I sit for like 5 mins staring in the egg waiting for movement. and if theres nothing and I really think it might be dead I'll Float it and see.

in the range of absolute minimum 60%
to 75% it could pip any day and you don't want it to dry out if it does. :)

Okay, its at 73% right now and temp at 101.5 and rising! So its safe to say that by day 25 if nothing happens I can consider it not viable and just dispose of it?!?

I've actually never had any go to day 25, but I know that that is the cut off date most on BYC have. I suspect it has to do with viability. If it's later than that it likely wouldn't survive.
Thank you for your knowledge Rose Quartz I appreciate it

NP :) I was once a beginner too. I was completely stumped with my most recent hatch. always more to learn and It's sooo hard to sit on your hands. let me know how it turns out if you remember to. :)
Hi Rose, So i gave the one eggie until today and nothing not a pip, not a peep so I disposed of it. Now Im preparing for my 2nd attempt, but I'm afraid of the same result. I posted a new thread of questions I hope you van help answer them since you were so helpful this time. How can I attach my recent post on this post?
