Day 22

So nearly day 23 And I had 2 chicks hatch on day 21 and then 3 hatch on day 22. shoul I wait another day to see if the other hatch, suggestions much appreciated
- I did candle at day 14

Yes, after candling I removed the empty ones put d (dunno) on the few we couldn’t see in and the rest should have been good.... not sure if I should candle the rest or just wait

I hatched two batches recently. I took the chicks out as they got dry and let the rest of the eggs sit till day 24 or 25. If nothing hatched I tossed the eggs. Both times I had a couple that didn’t hatch. So just wait a few days then move on.

Ducklings take longer... might want to check on the duck variety, as to whether muscovies or mallard type ducks so you know expected hatch date...

yeah duck eggs take longer to hatch, but I would just let them be, never brooded chicken egs and duck eggs at the same time lol

maybe @Ridgerunner or @Miss Lydia can help ya if they are duck eggs
