Day 23 and No Chicks

My broody silky has sat 23 days and still no chicks. It has been pretty hot here as every where, and I was wondering if maybe the eggs cooked. could that happen with a broody sitting on them. How much more time should I give her before I crack them open?

Have u tried candling them?

No, I don't like messing with them. would it be safe for me to do that at this point?

Yes I have a silkie sitting too and I candled, had to throw away a couple of them. Candle them and see if anything is internally pipping yet and too see if any movement.
