I have bcm and americana eggs in the incubator. This is day 23 and still no activity. When I did water test yesterday on 6 eggs all were still viable. Should I continue and if so how long?

If your temps have been cold, you could be a few days behind. I'd give it a couple of more days, before I give up. I candle, when in doubt.

Thanks, I had not opened the incubator until yesterday when i did the water test. Will wait a couple more days. They could be like a "watchedpot" i've looked at them so much.

give it time, one time I thought that this one egg was dead, a WEEK later it hatched.

How did they turn out? Any hatch? I'm on day 21 of my first hatch and no pips yet. This is a lot more nerve racking than I thought. I'm sure I've killed them, on day 18 everything looked okay with development but still nothing.
Thanks!

I'm curious to know the result as well. I'm on day 23 as we speak and have 6 eggs in the incubator. Did the water test yesterday and all 6 appeared viable. Still no movement, pips, or cheeps.

What a way to get more grey hair eh? Day 22, still nothing. 30 eggs in the bator.

Just did the water test. Nothing for 5 eggs. Then number 6 wiggled. "IT'S ALIVE!!!" (Fully Frankenstein style!) A few more wiggled then a few that wiggled sank, so I figured they are on their way out. Good golly I wish they would get here already, I'm still slightly convinced I killed them all. :P
