Day 23 and one chicken is chirping but no pip

she has pipped into the air sack, but not the shell. I can hear her pecking it, but no cracks. When do I help her?

I few hours later I checked on her and no movement or chirps. I put a hole in the top and could see she didn’t quite make it to the air sack. I am so sad she died. I should have done more sooner.

Don’t be hard on yourself
It’s really hard to save the ones that don’t internal pip
It’s hard for us to know when to jump in and many times if it’s to early then they don’t make it

Yes we hatched 6. I had 10 eggs in there, 2 didn’t do anything, one partially, and this poor chick.
