Day 23 no sign of chicks advice please !!!

What has your humidity level been?

Did you calibrated at least one thermometer?
Did you salt test a humidity guage?
If not (2 things above) do both before you set eggs again.

Candle a few eggs, in a dark room, and get clear pictures of what you see.
Salt test ? Thermometer is build in the incubator and there is a digital one on the side also, my humidifier unfortunately broken which didn’t realise .. but I no from posts people have hatched without one before

Will it not harm them if they are alive opening the incubator ?
When I cancelled them the day they went into lockdown could see movement etc :( Will I be able to open incubator ? X
Yes! I candle one the day they hatch! So I can watch and see where they are at on hatching and they have made it!

Buy separate ones to calibrate. Unfortunately you can't trust the built in instruments. There is no doubt your bator is reading off with your eggs being days behind.

I believe the biggest danger in opening the incubator is while they are in the process of hatching - it could cause the membrane to dry out. If none of them have pipped, I think you’re OK if you don’t leave it open too long. It wouldn’t hurt to candle a few of them. If no movement, I would give it another day or so before calling it. It can take 24 hours or more after rocking before they pip. Sometimes if you listen very carefully you a hear faint chirps.

It could be that your temperature was a bit low, causing a delayed hatch. The thermometers built into the incubators are notorious for being incorrect.

I can try. I have helped some people with stuff like this! Not trying to sound prideful.
I'm not speaking about ypu specifically...im saying that there isn't anything that you can do this late in the game thats going to make a difference in the hatch.
You either candle and look for life or wait.

What else do you think can be done?
