Day 23 of Incubation

I have not done any candling, but one of the eggs has a dark dot that looks like a pimple. I cannot here any peeping, I do see little white dents in the egg but no large cracks

Candle your eggs and see if they have developed. The white dents may be evidence of external pips.

Sorry for disappearing. I agree the dents may be external pipes. Have you done any candling at all throughout the incubation period? And how many total eggs did you set?

Yes, especially considering that they possibly haven't pipped yet. Just try to do it quickly so the humidity doesn't drop too much.

Can you candles quickly and post pictures that would help.. if your not seeing a lot of dark/black then the air cell, and your seeing veins they may be quitters..

Where did u get the eggs. How were they stored before you started to incubate them

It is recommended to candle the eggs at Day 7, 14 and 18. But for sure at least on Day 18 so you know if any are alive before locking them down.

How long was the temp down to 98. That could slow them down also

Not to bad but could have slowed things down a bit ... if you can get some candleing pics that would help determine whats going on.. also look for movement..
How many do u have incubating..
