Day 24 float test should i help

Okay I need some help day 24 and did the float test egg is moving slilty. Should I do a small pip to help or no?

If the chick hasn't internally pipped on its own, there is really no reason for a safe hole. If you see an internal pip, you should hear peeping.

Okay what if the baby is shrink wrapped and can not do an internal pip? And how would I know if it is?

Normally a healthy chick will be able to hatch on its own. Usually when you help one like this it will have deformities that are not known about. Sometimes they suffer more. I am not an expert, but in my years of raising birds I have discovered my help is not help the majority of the time.

Did you candle the egg?

Maybe if you tell us a little about your process so far, like what kind of incubator, what breed of chick, how has your temp and humidity been throughout the process... are there other eggs? Any of them hatch?

Normally, if it can't internally pip, then it likely won't live. Assisted hatches to that extent are not usually successful.
