Ellen has been on her eggs for 24 days now. One chick hatched day 21 and she might have another at day 22 since I saw another egg shell this morning. There are five more eggs underneath her. My dilemma is…do I pick her up out of her nest box to check other eggs? I don’t want to stress her out, but I probably need to remove those eggs. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

She will get up and move when she knows that all have hatched that are going to.
Were all the eggs put under her at the same time?

She is an odd one when it comes to her eggs. Last time she wouldn't leave the next box for at least a couple weeks with her chick. So I'm not sure she will know to get up on her own. All eggs were underneath her within two days.

I just checked and there are two chicks. Candles eggs one out of three is good. I'll give her a day or two and hope for the best for chick #3.
