Day 25 still no internal pip

You should never interfere. If there is still movement when you candle, then there is still hope. If a chick can't make it out on it's own, then it will probably not survive anyway, besides, if you only have one egg that hasn't hatched you've had a great hatch!! Opening the incubator at this point is not a good idea. I'd love to see pics of the ones that have hatched. I also have Marans, one of them is a beautiful Wheaten rooster.

i am sorry for your loss

Poor little guy...I know how gut-wrenching it can be, I lost both my eggs last year, for the exact same reason. But Sweet is right, you have a half a dozen other wonderful little fuzzballs to dote over! <3

So, the duck being in the wrong position can be the reason for not piping internal. Do you know of other possibilities they wouldn't pip internally?

This was one of my chicks that was in the wrong position and died, I waited too long to help. I don't keep ducks so I am even more clueless about them than I am with chickens lol Sorry I couldn't help.
