I set 13 eggs on 2/26 - temp was a little low for the first week. I got a better thermo and pushed temp up. 3 eggs when into lockdown, I inspected for pips then I floated them on day 22, had one sinker/non mover that turned out to be alive (not anymore-lots of fluid & yolk) and the 2 others bopped around. Day 24: inspected for pip then candled eggs (wrapped in warm wet washcloth), both are alive in there - movement & veins. Day 25: SAME (only the vein may look a little smaller - wishful thinking? and more movement).

Now my questions: Are they just late? Will they be deformed? What is the latest anyone has had a hatch?

I realize no one can answer these questions with certainity, I'm looking for past experience!!

Being your temps were lower in the beginning, this may be the cause of their late

hatching. Lower temps slow development down, So they normally hatch later. They

can hatch up to 5-6 days late. Don't loose hope!

Since your temps were low and you now have seen movement, have patience.

Thanks guys!! I needed that.
