Day 26 and goose is through the air sac! UPDATE ~PIC~

I checked my goose egg, to take it out of the turner and raise up the humidity for hatching and I candled it one last time and it is through the air sac and pecking at the shell. I cant wait for it to pip. It is on day 26. It is a Toulouse egg. How long will it be till it pips through the shell?

I don't know about geese, but I know that it can take ducks 24 - 48 hours, at least that is what I have been told. My ducks didn't take that long.

Thank you. I am sooo excited. I think I read it can take up to 1-2 days for the gosling to be completley out of the shell. Hopefuly before I got to bed there is a pip.

I just checked on my goose egg and there is an external pip..

I wondering how big the pip will be by the morning.

The pip is bigger. The gosling is starting to work around in a circle.

Hooray! I'm glad it waited on you. I had 4 hatch during the 4 hours I was trying to sleep. watched one hatch just now. Congratulations! I wanna see pics soon. Hopefully my Mom will get mine posted today.
