Hatching duck eggs (I’ve posted a million questions...I know). Day 26 out of 28. My one has been pushing at the membrane for 3 days now and has yet to internally pip. Is that normal? I know they take a long time, but I’m worried it’s not positioned right as it’s been working on the same spot for 3 days now! Don’t they normally internally pip a few days before they hatch? Excuse my terrible patience and million questions...:barnie

Sounds like it might pip soon. I wouldn't start to worry just yet. There's not much you can do until it does internally pip. A safety hole won't help until it's internally pipped and breathing, unfortunately.
Thank you so much! I will do a video just to be sure it hasn’t internally pipped and is struggling. It’s hard to tell because she spot it’s working on is in the bottom corner of the air sack.

Oh yes, that does make it hard to tell! Hopefully he's just still getting ready in there :)

Here is a video. Sorry for the weird angle- trying to video tape without opening the lid too much.

Looks like it’s working at the center a bit more.

Has it pipped? Wondering if my untrained eye is missing it.

Awesome! Keep us posted :pop
Thanks! Unfortunately we had to leave on a road trip. Incubator is plugged in and going for the ride. I had no options of people to watch them & this was the best option. If any of them make it they will be super ducks!!!
