Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Yes everything should be fine. The chicks will hatch on their time. That is good that you hear their little peeps! You'll have babies on your hands soon!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Mountain Peeps is right; everything should be fine. Duck eggs typically take 28 days (a little longer for some breeds like Muscovys) to hatch so they are right on schedule. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your duckling hatch.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Sounds like all is well. They will pip, (poke a hole in the shell to breath) and sit like this for a day or so. They are busy detaching from the inside of the egg and absorbing the last of the yolk. They will hatch when they are ready.

Good luck with the hatch and keep us posted!!
