I have 4 so far out of 10 duck eggs that have began to hatch:D What should my reletive humidity be at? Everything I read says something different. Also went to feed store today to get duck food and they told me to just feed them my chick food. Is this ok? I thought they werent supposed to have chick food?

This is my first hatch, I am sooo excited!! Also how long does it usually take from peep to out?

make sure that it's non medicated chick food... I fed my baby ducks duck starter from mazuri... But have also used Layena crumbles in a pinch,,
make sure they are crumbles

As long as the feed is non medicated.I have been buying the Dumor brand from TSC since hatching again at Xmas.I will probably switch back to a local mill soon since it is cheaper there, but bought from them last 5 years.Really never monitored humidity much when I hatched my ducklings but I had a Sportsman also and misted my duck eggs in there daily.Fan's tend to dry ducks out quickly, they have more left over egg stuff than chickens and it can actualy cyrstalize and dry and and kill the hatching ducklings. The only time I really watched hatches were ducks and goslings and tried to keep the eggs a lil more moist if I had chicken or other eggs in.Its a learing experience basicaly.Sometime's ducks take a bit longer to hatch than chicks depend's. Good luck with your duckling's.Update us on how many you get. DG
