Day 29- no internal pips, no movement, nothing :(

So turns our they are Muscovy and we are on day 34. Have internally pipped this morning so I'm still waiting!

Ah yes that makes sense Muscovy take longer to hatch. Muscovy are my personal favorite type of duck though you will love them so much if they make it!!!! I think Muscovy are the most dog like

Unfortunately the little guy didn't make it. He just stopped moving after trying to pip for about 36 hours. I peeled back some of the shell and it turned out he hadn't properly broken through the internal membrane. Did he just die from exhaustion? I'm so sad and confused as he got so far? What could cause that?

So sorry for your loss. You did your best for the little fella. Hard to tell, sometimes it’s just not meant to be.
Was that your only egg or are there others?
