Day 3 and due to hatch Jan. 2nd by broody hen - who else?

Anyone else due to hatch around the first of the year? I have a Silkie mix that went broody but my rooster isn't mature yet so I bought fertile eggs from a local lady. I have two Australorp eggs, two Naked Necks w/ possible Frizzle gene and two Marans. Excited!

I got eggs I just put into the incubator now :] they're going to hatch on the first weekend of January. 6 japanese bantam eggs and one egg from one of my bantams... Looks like it's from my silkie/cochin hen.. The only roo that likes her is my OEGB lol! I wonder what the heck it will look like!

Ah, that's great! It's fun when you get the "mutt" version and don't know what you'll be getting! Post some pics, I hope! Let the countdown start.
