Hi,

I set 13 duck eggs (6 Cherry Valleys and 7 mixed breed duck eggs) . i set all of them 3 days ago and i carnt see no sign of any veins. Do ducks take longer to develop?

please help!

many thanks,
zoe

Highly unlikely, unless egg is double in size.... lol Goose eggs can be double yoker, but never heard of any incubate them.
Good luck.

Quick Update: I now have veins starting to show in the five fertile eggs :) but i'm still unsure about the others as all the other eggs have like a dark shadow type thing inside the eggs and if i rotate the egg the yolk hardly moves....does that mean they are fertile? here is a picture of what the eggs with the dark shadows look like.
