CLUCKMAZING FACT- Research suggests that chickens are cleverer than toddlers. Hens have exhibited mathematical reasoning, self-control and even structural engineering!!!

I have seen their ability to think things out, over and over. For example, I was returning from emptying the compost bucket. They didn't see me empty it, the hens had just come around the corner and spied me w the bucket in hand, which to them means treats. They ran to follow me. But I was going the wrong way.They looked at me, then at the compost pile in the distance. They put 2 +2 together and ran down to the pile to dig in. It took reasoning to figure that out.

Lol depends on the bloodline of the toddlers doesn't it?
We have some dirt eating kids up the road that I'm sure my birds will continue to be brighter then when those kids get into their teens if not beyond.
Any old timers remember when places had the "play tic tac toe against a chicken" games?

I don't think they're better at it. They're just better at keeping a level head about it while chicken math gets the best of us.
