My 2 year old rhode island red has an injured foot. I did not see it happen. It's day 3 now and she's inside and still not putting weight on it. she's eating, i've been soaking it in epsom salt. no protruding bones. It just kinda lays there limp. Have you experienced this before? any advice? Not sure if i should split it and where i would do that. Thanks for any help. I added a link with some pictures and a video there are some notes to explain the image (there is an "see info" option under the 3dot menu)

Thank you for any help or advice.

A vet could do an xray to look for a broken bone. There also could be a sprain or a tendon issue. Does her foot and leg seem numb? Have you added any birds to your flock in recent weeks or months. I always worry a little about Mareks disease if someone describes a limp foot. Can she hold up the leg or does she put weight on it?
