I have 2 sliver appleyard eggs incubating, we're at day 30. Yesterday we had the start of pipping in one egg(we think) but it's been over 24hours of nothing else happening should we help? I'm worried it's not actually made a hole yet and might suffocate. We also have the other egg that hasn't had any signs of pipping yet, but have seen some shadow movement.
Any advice? Or should we just leave well alone?

go with your gut, do you think they need help, if you think they do
you could chip away the top of the egg where the bird would usually chip and take the top off after that break the membrane and pull the head out of the egg and let it get out itself "don't pull it out".
I saved 2 ducks and a chicken by doing this maybe it could save this little one
Please keep me updated

Flicked one piece of she'll off and saw the duckling moving around so left it be. It hatched a couple of hours later 🥰🥰 looks like might be the only one out of 6 so husband ran out and got 2x magpie ducklings so it's not it's own
