Hi All, here are videos of my Indian runner eggs that are on day 35 of incubation. I’ve lost 2 since candling 48 hours ago but these remaining 3 still have movement (mostly seen in the air cell but it doesn’t look like they’ve even pipped internally. There were issues with humidity (high) and possibly temperature (candling everyday, etc) during incubation. Any thoughts or advice? Any hope?

oh wow, that's long past due date. I would be surprised if they are still alive. any cheeping?

I would try to verify whether the duckling is still alive by making a hole in the air sac end, just bing enough to figure out what is going on...

like what this person does here.

Also, if you haven't already, I recommend reading this first, to get a better idea of how to handle the egg..

Thank you Yakitori, yes there is movement in all of the eggs. This is the best video I’ve seen yet. I have some concerns about assisted hatching as I can definitely still see veins - especially in egg 3. I’ll candle tonight and go from there. Thank you so much.

Assisted hatches makes me nervous. haha

Since you said you dont think they pipped internally, I guess I would check for shrink wrapping. I also wonder if they could possibly be malpositioned.

I’m still amazed by the fact that you are on day 35!

So I recalculated and today is actually day 34. Here’s an updated video. Do you think it’s internally piped? Note the air cell size bc they’ve essentially been in lockdown for 6 days now. Thoughts?
