Day 4

All of the information on that was given to us on the still air incubator was great! Thanks so much. Today we candled the eggs. They all had a dark mass at the top of the egg, but no spider web of blood vessels that we could see. They are blue eggs, so seeing through them is somewhat of a challenge.
Is what we saw good? Or is the lack of noticeable veins bad? Thanks

From what I know about the blue eggs is that you probably won't see the veins and if you do it's usually faint and around day 7. My light tan Buff Orp eggs are on day 4 now and you cant see anything like veins yet. Thursday I plan to re-candle and hope to see them then. A dark spot usually means the embryo is growing but day 4 should be pretty small. Good luck!
