day 5 candling pics

I set 26 eggs monday. i candled them tonight (using hubby's LED maglite), although I dont know what I am looking at & am hoping its just too early to tell, but I dont think it looks promising. Here are a few pics I took.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is hard to tell. Wait till day10 then you will be looking for veins and something moving. Good luck~ Tacey

it just seems odd to me that there is so much dark (or light) in some, but not others. Is that normal?

To me it seems like none of your eggs are fertile. But hard to tell on the dark ones. Do you see any blood veins?
And candle them lying down insted of standing up is easier i think.

Dint give up on them yet, i just learned my lesson. I had one that i thought was dead so i opened it and it had a live baby chick in it.But all i saw was a big blob inside and found out it was the yolk covering the chick. rookie mistake first timer.
