Thank you. I did leave it for an extra week and nothing grew inside it.Looks like a blood ring, which means that the embryo started developing, and then died.
It can happen for a number of reasons, some that we can control like wrong temp and turning during incubation, and rough handling before incubation, but sometimes the embryo simply isn't viable.
I usually leave seemingly blood-ringed eggs a few more days just to be sure. Day 5 is still early.
