I've incubated 2 batches of guinea eggs, and I'm on my 3rd of chicken eggs. My eggs are on between days 7 and 10 due to the fact my son kept adding eggs after Orr initial ones were put in lol. The youngest eggs air cells seem to be slightly smaller than they should be, is it possible the rainy humid weather is causing this? We've had an almost solid week of rain, the flooding around here is horrible, and there's another week's worth on the way. :/

No, I only have the humidity reader that's built into the incubator controller, it's read anywhere from 42% all the way up to 80% at times. All with no plugs in the incubator. Whenever I've caught it above 65% I've briefly opened the lid to let some of the humidity out. I've tried my best to keep it below 65% but no lower than 20% as was recommended for dry run. I've yet to see it go below 42% at any given time day or night though.

You have to get a seperate hygrometer and calibrate it. It can even be one of the really cheap ones. I use this one. It was under $5 online.
400

And here's the direction on how to calibrate. It's super easy.

Then you'll know what your humidity really is. (I have found that the readout on the actual incubator is way off) I prefer to keep it between 35%-45% days 1-18. Then 65%-75% during lockdown, the last 3 days. Let me know if you have more questions! :)
