Day 8. Embryo hanging around in pointy end ..is this normal?

When I candled at day 5 the embryo was more in the middle. Now at day 8 it seems like the embryo has 'sunken' to the pointy end (opposite the airsac end). Is this normal?. It is moving, squidlike.

Wait a few day and candle . If it is developing further than its fine if not than it's useless.

I noticed that mine were like that too....just did my first hatch....I just waited and watched, candling day 7, 10, 14, 18. By day 18 the egg is either full of chick(dark) or clear(bright).

So it did work out ok? Did they hatch, eventhough around day 8 they were in the pointy end?
This is my second try at hatching I really dont want to screw this up.

Yep, they ended up filling the egg and hatching.

Just be patient...... I know, I know it's hard. I was so disappointed the first time I candled at 7 days, brown eggs hard to see thru, but with time I saw enough to see progress. Never saw anything real clearly, like that thread with the white bantam eggs and a million candlepower light behind them, but saw enough to know good from bad. Had one blue egg never saw anything but the air cell, and it hatched!
