Falling Down Heights, my daily life

Contact the Huronia Fur and Feather club, they can point you on the direction of the local fancier club or the Dominion Rabbit and Cavy Breeders.

The Spring shows usually start in around April.
Oh, I have a list of all the Ontario/Quebec shows, as well as all the clubs. :) That's how I knew the infrequency of shows and their locations. So unless I win the lottery, there won't be many I'll be able to go to. And I don't buy lottery tickets! :lau

Ummm lights maybe next time??

And then if all else fails do like we tell the kiddies - sit on my bum and go down the stairs 😁
Light switch is at the top of the stairs, on the *other* side of the door. So, unless I want to try to sleep with the lights on... ;)

As for scooting down the stairs on my rear end, knowing me I'd probably break my tail bone! LOL! Time to get a flashlight for those nighttime washroom runs!

Have you considered those fancy LED bulbs you can turn on and off with your phone?

I'm very old fashioned and refuse to have apps on my phone. 😜 Just as easy to use the built in flashlight in the phone.

Another week...

Air mattress sprung another leak (twice now) so I need to bite the bullet and buy an actual one. Surprised it lasted this long, honestly. I'd get a camping cot but my 60+lb dog likes to take over the bed so I would be on the floor within an hour anyhow.

Going below freezing tonight. Rabbits are loving it. Glad I don't have to worry about my extremities falling off.

Speaking of rabbits, I should have my first standard rex kits in less than two weeks! My friend who's boarding most of the buns bred one of my does to one of her bucks. She has a heated barn so will be able to breed through the winter.

I miss being out in the country...

OH! Here's pics of the one baby I'm definitely keeping from my last litter:

She needs a name!

I broke my hand in a falling accident on the weekend, which is now in a cast going all the way up to my elbow joint.
I would normally ask for a high-five, in solidarity of our proclivity to fall, but that will be too painful at the moment.
:lau

We could start a club... the Fellowship of the Falling Fowl Fanciers; or What the FFFF!

Anywho...

Your baby from your last litter is absolutely gorgeous. The name 'Pyjamas' popped into my head, which is not as random as it may first seems. Over here we affectionately refer to Zebras as Pyjama Donkeys; and since your little one has stripes like a Zebra? Just throwing the name into the pot.
