Hi guys,
I am on day 8 of incubating a batch of chicken eggs. When I candle I see 3 of the eggs veins all looking as they should, but I can't spot the embryo..I am sure I see some movement further inside the egg. Is it possible the embryo could be out of sight when I candle?? Also the little embryos I can see jiggling around in there are upside down (meaning their little eye is facing the pointy end away from the air cell) Will they change position?

At day 8, veining is good. If you don't see an embryo yet, don't worry too much. Try again after day 10 or so

Thanks, I will leave them be and try again in a couple of days :)

Some chicks are shy.  Have you rotated the egg?  Day 10 is the best day to see dancing chicks.

Thank you for your reply, I have been tilting the eggs back and forth 3 times a day, I have them set in the incubator large end up..is this right? I am hand turning..or tilting lol
