every day I will be editing this thread and telling what I'm planning on doing with my chickens and things that happen with my chicks and older chickens.. this will be a 30 day thing so stay tooned


Day 1. ( this isn't the first day of owning chickens just the first day of 30 days)
today I plan to clean up the walls or finish the walls of my ccoop.after that I will do my daily chick holding.

good! found out we have a mite infestion. so i feel like biuldding a new coop and burning the other...

i am cleaning chick feet and leting them roam! i have been trying to introduce my chicks to the adult chickens! but now the chicks are bulieing aech other! since the hummingbirds are coming out they seem to love the chicks and hang out aound them! the chicks found out what whipcream was today and they are little trouble makers and had gotton in th garden to dig holes lol! they are now enjoying a veiw of our vally. they grow so fast !

I always used to laugh when people said “they grow up so fast!”

But especially with chickens, it is so true!

ya! but there has been two deaths since i last updated... two polishes:

1. died of a absesses ( i dont know but i think it was weak cus of the absesses and got trampled while i was at school)

2. died cus of dogs... (was cold and wet i found her she was laying on the floor and wet, smelled like dog slobber and shivering... i was out side working on the coop. she was too cold and couldn't be revived..)
