day late

My first egg was due to hatch yesterday. Last evening, I could see egg moving. Thought I saw area where maybe he was pecking. This morning, nothing new but still saw egg move. Could he just be late ? Maybe he needs help but I dont want to do anything to hurt him..trying to let nature take it's course but so anxious to have my first hatch. Any advice or words of wisdom. thanks. excited guinea mom here
