Day old baby chicks... Hard to raise?

You'll do great! As long as you keep them warm, fed and hydrated, things will go well!

They really are pretty easy. You do have the occasional loss, though.

For us, the hardest part is when they are finally old enough to move outside. We have a had a couple problems with predators!

Predators are a huge concern to me with my current birds. I can never stop worrying about them. We haven't had a loss yet, but something did attempt to dig under the run and a hawk was hanging around and swooping down to the top of the run- It is fully enclosed thank God! I think I'm gonna put my dog closer to the chickens. I didn't want to because I didn't want him to get any ideas or bark at them, but I think it might be a good idea.
