Here is my problem.

I have a silkie chick that was born yesterday and is still not walking. I don’t think it’s sprained leg they are not out to the sides.

It has it’s wings out to the sides and the feet are up by it’s belly. It can’t seem to walk at all. It uses it’s wings to move around. Should I treat as sprained legs and use the bandage?

The other silkie that was born today is already up and walking.

I would appreciate any help I could get. I ready don’t want to lose her.

Thank You

I'm sorry, I'm just reading your post for the first time, and am little to no help at all. I have one silkie, and she is doing fine so far.
Have you culled already? If not. . .
Have you tried straightening her legs gently? Can you straighten them?
How does she respond if you do?
Is there any spontaneous movement of her feet or legs?
If she is not able to move at all, then perhaps culling would be the best and kindest thing to do.
Sorry I'm not more help. Good luck with your birds.

I did, thank you both.

I don't know what happened to all the people who used to help on here.
