Day old chick don’t like starter any advice?

I’m so sorry. At least now her suffering is over. Yeah I’m never sure whether it’s the other chicks or the sick chick that leads to situations like this. As I have also dealt with many chicks with growth problems. They seem to be fine one minute and then all the sudden their bodies break down. I’m sorry it’s been so hard for you it sounds very frustrating.

Really sad loosing half of the chicks i hatched, i was really looking forward to a bigger flock. Guess i might have to try to get really reputable sellers of chicks or hatch out more..

My chick prefers home-made chick starter soaked in water - not too watery but dough-like. Whatever mum eats he eats so it's challenging.

So sorry for your loss .... you did your best though what more can we do?
