day old chick has floppy head that lays back like it looking up constant!!!

I have a day old chick that I have left in incubator away from other chicks, he is very strange as his head lays back on his back and it seems he looking up constantly. What does this mean an is there anything I can do???

Does its neck seem deformed or crooked? This might cause it to act like this. Its also possible that it is "stargazing". I believe that stargazing is caused by a vitamin E deficiency. I'd get some vitamins like Poly Vi Sol infant vitamins (without iron) and start giving it some. You don't usually see vitamin deficiencies so early on, but if the flock that you got the eggs from was deficient in some vitamin, the chicks can have deficiencies as well.
