Day old chick has one foot curled under

He's getting to the food and water but only uses one foot?!

Since the chick is still so young, you can make a cardboard splint for the curled foot if it is the toes and straighten them out. A pic would help too incase what I am seeing in my head isn't really what is up with the chick. Welcome and best of luck!
