Day Old Chick hatched with rectal protrusion

I have a chick that hatched a day late and with an odd protrusion from it's vent. It doesn't appear to be prolapse, and is very swollen, red, and firm to the touch. It looks almost like a balloon. (A gross, fleshy balloon that is...) It hatched with this protrusion and I believe it might have swollen larger in the couple hours after hatching. Anyone experienced this before or know what this may be? Or if possible, any remedies? It's still in the incubator as I wanted to keep the area moist. Other than the vent oddity, it's acting fine and is energetic and loud, crawling and peeping all over the incubator. I'm hoping to give this sweet little chick a chance. Attached pics.

Looks like possibly unobsorbed yolk sac. I've never really with one personally, but I've read that it should be put in a small bowl or cup with a damp paper towel. Keep it warm, moist, and away from other chicks. Good luck, hopefully someone who knows a lot more comes along soon!

I do believe that is an unabsorbed egg sac. I would put a little triple antibiotic ointment to keep it moist. Place the chick in a shallow cup like a tea or coffee cup. Place some paper towels in the cup so it's not so slippery. Put her back in the incubator.

I would not use wet towels in the cup since those will eventually cool and you don't want the chick to get chilled.
