Hi everyone. Grateful for all the learning, but need extra help.
I think this chick today, it’s a day or so old and found it out of the nest.
Does this look like scalping or deformity? Either way, how can I help? I can’t tell if it’s eating and drinking, yet. And I don’t know if it can even see :(
Please help.

Welcome to BYC. That chick has been severely pecked and injured. You will need to clean the wound with saline or Vetericyn and coat it twice a day with plain Neosporin/Triple Antibiotic Ointment. This will take a long time to heal, and the chick should be isolated.

It needs to be placed in a warm brooder right away. Do you have a brooder heat lamp? The temperature mpneeds to be 90-95 degrees in the warmest spot with a cooler spot to get to.

Is the chick awake or alert? Can you offer it some electrolyte water and dip it’s beak to drink? Sorry that this happened, but it can happen when they escape a nest.

can the chick chirp or walk around? dip his beak in water, and see if he drinks. keep him warm in a brooder, and just like Excessive said, you might want to put electrolytes into the water. they help a lot when it comes to sick chickens.
