Day old chicken entertainment

I have 5 day old chicks that are doing well but they seem to be very board. I was wondering if someone could give me some toy ideas, I am just now trying 2: the small mirror toy and the stick one.

Greetings again! The life and times of 5 day old chicks seems to revolve around sleeping and eating. At about two weeks you can give them some treats for entertainment....mealworms, peas...they seem to be entertained by these.

from Ohio and God Bless!!! When my chickens were younger, they picked on each other because they were bored. We put tennis and ping pong balls in the brooder with them. They would balance on them.

Mine also loved a old cake pan filled up with dirt out of the flower beds. Or some good clean sand would do the trick too
