We got 16 Rainbow Layer pullet chicks from Cackle hatchery a week or so ago. One night three of them got stuck away from the heat lamp, and didn't make it,
and then a couple nights later another died. So now we only have 12 left, so we were going to go to Farm and Fleet to get more(it's like TSC, but their aren't as many), my sister had called them the day before and they said they were getting a order of 300 chicks the next day. So, the next day we drive over there and all they have is ducks, bantam barred cochins, and somewhere around 10 strait run black sumatra chicks! There were tops 60 chicks there! There's a two different TSCs a little bit farther away, so the next day we call both of them, one doesn't have any and one says they only have white leghorn pullets. On his way home from work my dad stopped at the one with the leghorns. They were sold out! Just my luck.
