Day old chicks wanted (Found) updated!

Cool, she has a nice variety of birds and places to hang out it. I'm sure Elvis will love it there.

I sold the EE mix one last night, that you gave me for free, each day I was becoming more convinced it was a roo. I kept the other one that looked more Silkie'ish for awhile yet tho, I really like that one and am hoping its not roo also.

I just put a new pic of them on my Chicken page if you want to see them. The girl is almost fully healed but she has sight problems. If you have treats in your hands, she misses when she tries to get them. And if you wiggle your fingers in front of her like 3 foot away, she acts like shes trying to catch stuff flying by her face. But otherwise shes great and is our favorite chicken.

I think its because silkies/mixes don't have very good eyesight anyhow. Someone on here had problems with her silkie pecking the air and couldn't find her food. My Oliver does that and Peppi does too, but its because their crests are so big.

Yep, I put the 3 silkie in the same box. How much were little roosters going for? I know I bought one around a month ago for 2.50

Hmmm I just chalked it up to damage from the accident. But who knows.

She likes to have people around and be held and stays in the coop if shes with the big chickens. So I put her and my Polish that was getting feathers plucked out of her head, into the smaller coop/pen with the older chicks and she seems much happier. I think all the big chickens freak her out.

A couple of mine went for $2-$5, but none less than $2 I dont think. I know a few people were bidding back and forth on a few of the prettier roosters, so maybe you got lucky and it was on yours.

She was always afraid of our big chickens. I really want to know what attacked her. I just looked at your personal page, and everything looks great! Cobalt is getting handsome!

I just counted up the weeks, and my partridge silkie, Peppi is 23 weeks old and her EE sister Embony is the same age! They should be laying by now! GRrrrrr....

Uh oh, are you sure they are girls?

I am still on the fence about my two black Silkies and the Buff from Kim. The buff is very outgoing and bossy. I am pretty sure my big gray Silkie is a boy, but no crowing yet at almost 4 months of age.

Yep, they are definitely girls. They should be laying eggs by now.

Let me go take some pictures, and I will post them. Peppi has NO streamers, and Ebony is a girl, I think.
