I want a splash silkie so bad!!! Were you being sarcastic or can I really buy one or two from you? They have really nice foot feathering.The other chick is a blue I think.

I have 5 of the Splash ones, I'm just keeping 2 of them and the blue. The other 3 I was just going to take back to the sale. So you are welcome to take however many of them that you want. If you want all 3 for better chances of a girl or pair, thats fine with me.

You can just trade me a couple Orp pullets in the Spring for them

Okie dokie let me see if my parents will let me. I was showing my mom pictures of them last night, but she's sick this morning so I'll ask her after I get off school. I would like to take all three if I'm allowed~! I'll trade you two buff orp pullets next year for all of them? That's IF my girls start laying!

If you don't hatch any Orps, I'm sure you will have some sort of chicks in the Spring.

I went out and candled the eggs you gave me for Dolly. I can't see thru the shells of the EE eggs (so don't know if they are devoping), don't see any veins in either of Peppi's eggs yet, but I see veins and what I guess is very tiny chickies in the Australorp egg and the 3 other Bantam eggs!!! So I might get babies!!

What kind of chicken are the 3 Bantam eggs from, Silkies or Silkie/EE mixes?

I hope Peppi's eggs are fertile.

I have seen the lavenders mating her. I'll crack Pep's egg that she laid today and see if its fertile.

I'm so glad most of them are developing that you can see. I had a really hard time seeing through the EE eggs too. I guess we don't have a high-enough powered flashlight.

The silkie eggs can be either pure silkie or I'm guessin EE x Silkie crosses. I hope my silkie roo Lippy is the dad. If they come out pure silkie, they will most likely have single combs because the hatchery I got my birds from has mostly single-combed silkies.
