Day old duck desperate need of help

I think this is a day old and i think this is a mallard. i was given this duck because the lady knew i had other ducks. her dog brought her this baby mallard that we are calling "Lucky". Lucky cant stand at all, falls over, bobbles heads from side to side, will peep , wont eat or drink and weight omg next to nothing...... I am kinda lost as to what to do. She wont sleep anywhere but in my hand, and falls over on her back a lot and cant right herself.... Help please!!!!!

The only thing to do I to make her comfortable as possible and and see what God has in his bag of miracles

Do you have Gro-gel, sav-a-chick, or poultry vitamins? I would give some vitamins in lukewarm water. Dip her bill in it. She may have internal injuries, hard to say. Keep her from the other ducks in case she has anything contagious.

You might try putting a little - a teaspoon - of apple cider vinegar in a pint of lukewarm water, see if she will take that. Keeping her warm and hydrated are important.

If it is a wild mallard, a rehabilitator is the person to go to. They know how to syringe feed, and other critical care methods. So see who you can find in your area.

thank you for your advise. I am sad to say as I sit here in tears but Lucky has left us to play is bigger ponds in the clouds... it is amazing how in 3 hrs they imprint so hard and fast on you... now to hold my other 6 babies as I need their peeps. Have a good night all

Died warm and cozy not cold and alone. Im sure you did everything possible, it was just too far gone.
