Hi , we. Priced this large dark ball on our new Keets butt . I gave him a warm bath and started gently wiping but it look like flesh once cleaned and possibly bleeding . So I’m wondering if it’s not pasty butt , I don’t want to emote a protruding organ ! He’s drying off in the incubator . Any help is appreciated . He hatched yesterday .

I know almost nothing about guineas, but I had a cockerel with a similar issue. It was just a protruding vent. It cleared up on its own. There was no poop, no redness. It was all just flesh. I understand it's fairly common in chickens. Maybe it's the same with guineas?

Can you get a close up? Too me it looks like an unabsorbed yolk sack, which is located where the navel/Belly Button is.
