Day zero and no hatching activity

Even if it really is day 28, which I'm unsure it is, ducks don't alway hatch on day 28. My last batch of ducks one hatched on day 31.

Right, 28 is just a guide for me.

Pretty sure I just killed 3 ducks. Candled them took out the ones I didnt feel good about and the opened them outside. There were 4 that were not fertilized...still egg yolk. And 3 that had fully formed ducks in them. I want to cry

I am leaving the 6 that are left in there till they hatch or smell I feel awful

Don't be too hard on yourself, I think many of us here have done the same thing.

They were not moving unless it takes a few minutes. At least Lie to me and tell me they were dead!

I am not gong to lie. The times I have opened them too early they were obviously still alive. If they weren't moving they were probably dead.
