I like it I got my hour back............ but I forgot to change the alarm clock I changed the kitchen clock ....when I got the girls up and around for school and they were waiting for the bus I realized it was 6:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM They said cool we can lay back down for an hour...........now all my clocks are changed.

I hear 'ya loud and clear! I'm starting a new job that requires me to leave at 6:15 in the morning and I won't get home until 6:30 in the evening. So it'll be dark on both ends of the trip. With DST I'd at least have 30 minutes or so to check on the girls, put out feed, and so on. And my youngest gets off the bus at 4:20, so she doesn't get much "sun time" either. It's all very depressing.

I wouldn't want it in the summer, and when my DS was a baby, he was born in Aug., he wanted to go to bed at 6 and get up at 4. We saw many a sun rise together. But, now that the sun is up so early, I feel like really getting up and getting with it, so that is a good thing!!!

I guess we will all just have to scurry to get the chores done by what little sunlight there is at 5. I will have to say though, that when DS and I were out feeding the Alpacas and playing with the babies, the full moon behind a strip of clouds was so pretty. I wish I had a super good camera that would catch those pictures.

I wish they would meet half way and just leave the time alone, it gets dark when it gets dark, sometimes I wish I could just forget about what the clocks say and do like the farmers used to do go by the daylight up early to bed early

yea like I could get my teenager to go to bed early I am dreaming but if I ever get my farm I am throwing clocks out the door.

From "Forgetting Sarah Marshall":

Sitting on surfboards in the ocean...very serene...very 'zen'

Peter: "Hey, do you know what time it is?"
Kunu: "No, I stopped wearing a watch when I moved out here."
Peter: "Wow, that is so cool!"
Kunu: "Well...no, my cell phone has a little clock on it, so I don't really need to wear a watch."

I was picking eggs using a flashlight last night. My girls are so confused. A few were in the nesting boxes laying eggs and it was getting dark. Poor girls. I hate this new time.

Chickens aren't affected by what a clock says.....they go by the daylight hours so the clock saying something different doesn't affect them....they're going to lay just like they have been.
