Daytime predator

Thanks for everyone's responses. I feel so much better about leaving the girls out today. We have a covered run so I know hawks won't get them but we do live on a farm and the coyotes have been pretty vocal at night. I haven't seen one during the day but I know they are close because we have some turkey's that live in our pasture and every night we hear the coyotes howl and then the turkeys gobble. I just hope that they are fine when I get home.

I've had yotes in mid summer midday in front of me DH and 3 dogs. It was a miss and only got tail feathers, but they can be pretty bold if they are hungry and see chicken lunch tartar. After all, walking in front of KFC smelling all that good finger licken chicken - we go eat it too.​
